You are cordially invited to participate in “Securities Lending & Borrowing: Operational Challenges” training course organized by International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) and the AFE on 15 – 16 – 17 – 18 March 2021 at 9:00 – 12:30 pm (UK time).
Traditionally driven by borrowers needing to cover positions, Securities Lending & Borrowing (SLB) transactions are an important revenue stream for lenders of securities. This course will help you identify the main participants in the SLB trade and consider their motivations in the context of the current market climate.

On this course you will learn about:

  • Content of securities lending legal agreements and how firms are impacted operationally
  • Operational level risks and best practice mitigation methods
  • Advantages/disadvantages of using different types of collateral
  • Trade and collateral lifecycle

This course will be livestreamed via Zoom platform, and the course material will be provided by the ICMA Canvas.
