Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Receives Financial Delegation from Hong Kong

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) received a high level delegation from Essence International Financial Holdings; a security underwriting services company based in Hong Kong, at ADX offices in Abu Dhabi.  The visit is part of ADX’s continues efforts to develop cooperation with international financial institutions.

The two sides discussed cooperation and matters of mutual concern, especially in the areas of finance and investment. They also discussed trade flows and partnerships between Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong.

The delegation attended a presentation on ADX market operations, development initiatives, and future plans. The presentation also addressed the standing of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as a regional and global financial centre offering vast investment opportunities.  The visit also included a tour of ADX trading floor.

Regarding ADX’s reception of his delegation, Mr. Philip Han, Director and Deputy CEO of Essence International Financial Holdings said: "We were very pleased with our visit, and we hope that our meeting results in promoting cooperation between Essence International Financial Holdings and ADX.  We will continue to follow up with ADX during the coming months to further investigate possible partnership opportunities, as we continuously are looking for ways to enhance ties with reputed international institutions such as ADX to benefit our clients and stakeholders.”

On their part, members of the delegation expressed satisfaction about their visit to ADX lauding the cooperation as an example of international collaboration within the context of economic and trade partnership.
