The Palestine Exchange holds a Training course on "Developing Best Investor Relations Practices"

The Palestine Chapter of the Middle East Investor Relations Society- lead by the Palestine Exchange (PEX)- held a specialized training course on "Developing Best investor Relation Practices". The course was conducted in cooperation with The Middle East Investor Relations Society (MEIRS) in the UAE and FinanceTalking in the UK. Twenty One participants participated in this two-day course held at the Executive Club in Ramallah- Palestine.
 
Chief Executive Officer of the PEX Mr. Ahmad Aweidah said: "This IR training responds to our efforts in developing effective IR practices in Palestine. The course will induce more Palestinian companies to establish IR units to best serve investors needs and to keep constant and effective communication channels with them as well as help attract more investment".
 
Chairman of the Palestine Chapter of MEIRS Mohammad Khraim said: "This training course is one of several activates we did aiming at developing IR best practices in Palestine. The course addressed capital markets and the context of the company's financial communication. It provided participants with information on how investors and analysts evaluate opportunities and how to tell the company's investment story. It also informed participants about the role of investor relations, analyst communications and media relations and how to best manage them".
 
The course was lead by Mr. David Yates from FinanceTalking in the UK. Mr. Yates experience spans over 30 years in investment banks and financial PR in capital markets particularity M&A and IPOs. He teaches regularly in the UK, the USA and the Middle East.
