The Egyptian Exchange Held a Meeting with 40 Entities of Brokerage Firms and Asset Managers

Dr. Mohammed Omran, EGX Chairman, discussed during his meeting on the 7th of April 2014 with 40 of brokerage firms and asset managers the latest developments in the market.
They discussed means of cooperation with different parties of market to enhance investor confidence to enhance the appetite of foreign investment and bring momentum to the trading volumes and values of the market. Dr. Omran stressed on the keenness of EGX to secure safe transaction, especially with ongoing review being done on companies on timely manner.

In a related context the attendance suggested activating a code of ethics for analysts and financial experts qualified to communicate with the media to comment on the performance of the capital market.  They called for establishing new and different types of investment funds; such as pension and supplementary funds.
